Overview

What it does

Import your Square catalog, customers and sales via CSV, connect by OAuth for two-way live sync, and charge app-created sales on a paired Square card reader. The payment reconciles back automatically.

  • One-time CSV migration: customers, catalog and historical sales in three guided steps.
  • Live two-way sync over OAuth: catalog, customers, suppliers, inventory and sales.
  • Per-area direction: pull from Square, or push and make Stockroom the source of truth.
  • Charge a Stockroom sale on your paired Square reader. Square still processes the card, at your Square rates.
  • The card payment reconciles back automatically; a full-balance tap fulfills the order.
  • Refunds taken on Square flow back on their own. The items restock and the sale reverses in your books.
  • Chargeback alerts: disputes surface with the amount and evidence-due date so you can respond in time.
  • Deposit-account health alerts: if Square can't pay out to your bank, Stockroom warns you instead of letting deposits quietly stall.
  • Gift-card balances mirror in as an outstanding liability, so your tax and income summaries stay honest.
  • Map many Square locations to your locations so no sale is ever lost.
  • If Square ever disconnects, Stockroom tells you and pauses sync. It never fails silently.
  • Additive by design: connecting Square, or pairing a reader, never gates or disables anything.
