Will I be double-charged if I already use Square?

Accepted Answer

No. Payment processing and point-of-sale always stay with Square. We never resell or re-bill payments. You pay Stockroom only for the inventory and back-office software; Square keeps handling checkout.

How does per-location pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Paid plans are billed per active selling/stocking location per month. One storefront is one location. The Free plan includes a single location; Enterprise includes volume discounts for many locations.

Do I need Square or Shopify to use Stockroom?

Accepted Answer

Neither. Square and Shopify are separate optional integrations, and neither one needs the other. Run both, one, or none: Stockroom is a complete back office on its own, and you can import a CSV and run everything without connecting anything.

Can I sell in a shop and on Shopify from the same stock?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and that is the point of connecting it. You choose which products sell online and how many units to hold back for walk-in customers. Sell one at the counter and the storefront knows the same minute, so the last one on the shelf can't be sold twice. Online orders arrive in Stockroom to pick and pack, and your customer gets their tracking email when you fulfil them.

Is the Shopify integration included in my plan?

Live Shopify sync is included from Starter up, the same tier as the Square sync. They are separate integrations on the same tier: having one never requires the other. The one-time Square CSV migration is included on every plan, including Free.

Question 6

What counts as a 'user'?

Accepted Answer

Any teammate with their own login. Internal staff can sign in with an employee ID (no email required). Owners always have full access and don't count against staff limits.

Can I change plans or cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever you like. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle and your data stays intact if you move down a tier.

Is there a free trial of the paid plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every paid tier starts with a free trial, no credit card required. If you do nothing, you simply stay on the Free plan.
